Know Before You Go

We’re excited to welcome you to the Columbus Taco Fest at Goodale Park! To ensure you have a fantastic experience, please take a moment to review the following important information. Whether you’re joining us for delicious tacos, live entertainment, or just a fun day out, here’s what you need to know before you arrive:

  • Dates: Saturday, October 5th & Sunday, October 6th
  • Time: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM on Saturday and 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday
  • Location: Goodale Park, Columbus, OH
  • Entry Fee: Free admission!
  • Donations: Donations will be accepted on-site to benefit Friends of Goodale Park, a local organization dedicated to maintaining and enhancing Goodale Park.
  • All Ages Welcome: Columbus Taco Fest is a family-friendly event.
  • Minors: Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (21+). Everyone will be carded at the entrances to ensure compliance with this policy.
  • No Coolers: Coolers, large containers, and outside food or drinks are not allowed.
  • Weapons: No weapons of any kind are permitted on the event grounds.
  • Other Restrictions: Outside alcohol, drugs, and large umbrellas are also prohibited.
  • Allowed Bags: Clear bags up to 12” x 6” x 12” and small clutches or purses no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are allowed.
  • Prohibited Bags: Medium/large size bags and backpacks are not permitted.
  • Bag Checks: All bags will be subject to search upon entry to ensure the safety of all attendees.
  • Food Trucks: Enjoy a variety of tacos from local food trucks.
  • Craft Vendors: Browse unique handmade goods, art, and creative items.
  • Dessert Vendors: Indulge in sweet treats and desserts from local vendors.
  • Drink Tickets: Beverages can be purchased using drink tickets. IDs will be checked for all alcohol purchases, so don’t forget to bring yours!
  • On-Site Safety: The event will feature a coordinated effort from the Columbus Police Department (CPD) and private security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment for all attendees.
  • EMT Squad: An EMT squad will be on site for medical emergencies and support.
  • Allowed Devices: Motorized wheelchairs and scooters with three or more wheels are allowed for patrons with disabilities.
  • Not Allowed: Golf carts, two-wheeled scooters, and other motorized vehicles are not permitted.
  • Location: Goodale Park is located at 120 W Goodale St, Columbus, OH 43215.
  • Parking: Limited street parking is available around the park. We recommend using public transportation, ride-sharing, or carpooling.
  • Essentials: Bring sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses for sun protection.
  • Seating: Feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the festival atmosphere.
  • Pets: Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. Please bring waste bags for your pets.
  • Facilities: Portable restrooms will be available throughout the festival area, including accessible options.
  • Beat the Crowds: The Columbus Taco Fest tends to get busier as the day progresses, especially in the afternoon. To avoid long lines and enjoy a more relaxed experience, we suggest arriving early. This is also a great way to ensure you get to try all your favorite tacos before vendors sell out!
